It doesn't bother me from the standpoint that it should be covered up so people don't see, but at the beach I'd probably want a top just for sun protection.
LO has a two piece bathing suit for the pool though, and I think it's way easier to deal with a diaper situation when you don't have to pull down and put back on a wet one piece bathing suit.

If I'm going to bother putting on the bottoms, the top is going on too. I made the mistake of posting a pic of Z in just a cloth diaper and like 5 fb friends commented on her "baby boobs". Bad mom!

@anonysquire: omg now that is too cute I love it
I dobt like it I just think about how many sexual predictors might be watching it's too many sick people in the world who love young innocent kids to not have them covered in public.

@anonysquire, I took E's dress off for a messy dinner once and MIL kept mentioning her boobies. Made me super uncomfortable. A baby does not have boobies!

I think it's fine. It's a baby!! That said (and I said this in the naked baby thread), why would I pass up the opportunity to shop for an adorable swimsuit for her? A really cute, childish one with a little frilly skirt!
