I got my flu shot yesterday around 1:30pm. I'm 29 weeks pregnant so I couldn't do the mist. Last night it was sore but I had a bandaid on it. I took it off this morning and went about my business. I just noticed how red and swollen it is! Is this normal? It doesn't itch but it's pretty sore. It's also warm to the touch.

I would give it a few hours. Mine was really sore this year for some reason- worse than the tdap. I don't know about the swelling though.

Wouldn't hurt to give your doctor a call. Swollen and hot is never good.

I couldn't believe it but my flu shot hurt incredibly bad this year...literally I got the shot, took steps away from the register to pay and could barely move my arm! Give it maybe a few hours and see if it goes down.

My arm hurt really bad (like I couldn't even lift it!) the next day after I got mine, but I don't remember it being hot to the touch or swollen like that

Take it for whatever it's worth but DH (ER nurse) said it looks like a normal reaction.

Pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site are totally normal reactions

Yes normal, I had a reaction like that this year but bigger. It went away after about 2 days or so
