I'm curious to see everyone's set up for a changing table, do you like yours? Why or why not? I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want/need for a changing table because I think I would like it to double as toy/stuff storage down the line.

We painted my grandmothers old dresser and it works perfectly for our needs.
Top drawer has hair bows, brush, soothers etc
2nd drawer has diapers and wipes
3rd drawer has onesies and pants
The red peanut changer is also the single best baby gear I own...it's SO easy to wipe down clean !

We use this (ours is black/brown) and put a changing pad on top of it. I really like it because all this diapers, clothes, medicine, etc are within reach but still hidden! It's also solid wood which is awesome given it's an Ikea item.

Here's mine. I was worried she'd get too big and outgrow it, but at 10 months we're still using it without any problems

@swurlygurl: How do you like having the door vs all drawers? I have been looking into cabinets with both so it doesn't just seem like a dresser.
I have looked at the expedit bookcase from ikea after seeing this photo on pinterest, but am worried about it not being deep enough!

@jill_a55: For functionality purposes, I love it. I store tall things in there and stacks of blankets which would be annoying to store in her drawers. However, once I'm done with babies and would like to try to reuse it elsewhere in the house... it will have that 'nursery' vibe, I think 
BUT, I got it on Craigslist for super cheap, so it was a no-brainer for me.

@jill_a55: We have the Babyletto Modo & love it. We got drawer dividers from IKEA and we have those in the top drawer with diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, lotion, etc. in them. The bottom two drawers we use to store blankets and extra crib sheets/changing pad covers. The expedit as a changing table looks really nice, but I agree with you that it's not deep enough. My LO is getting more and more wiggly and I'd be worried about her falling off. I think it would also be hard to change a wiggly baby with not much room on either side of him/her.

@jill_a55: I love the Expedit shelving as a change table. That configuration with the drawers reminds me of a Land of Nod dresser/shelf. The bookcase is 17" deep and will fit many change pads.

I don't have any pictures, but we got an IKEA Trondheim 3-drawer chest that they apparently no longer sell. It is just the right width for a changing pad on top. The nursery is really small, so we needed something that would fit and have storage, too. We put all changing needs in the top drawer and use the 2nd and 3rd drawers for blankets, burp cloths, etc. If I had more room, I would have wanted a longer dresser because I have nowhere to put the dirty diaper once I take it off....or a change of clothes or anything else because the changing pad takes up the entire surface.

My DH made the changing table using an Ana White plan. The top comes off and we use it as a bookshelf and toy storage now.

@PEAPIE: it's amazing and worth very penny ( I was skeptical pre baby because they are pricy). So nice not to have to worth about washing and changing covers and they feel more hygienic . I highly recommend it !

@lawbee11: Does it bother you at all not to have room to set anything on the sides? I am getting the Babyletto Hudson crib, and looked at the changing table dresser that goes with that one but was concerned about space.
@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Oh I just looked that up, that must have been what they were going for! Can't say I love that $699 price tag though Would love the extra inches though!
@pregnantbee: That is what I worry about with a smaller but deeper dresser.. I know I would want somewhere to put things I was using!
@mrskc: nice! toy storage and bookshelf is the after I am looking for too! My DH is handy... but I don't know about THAT handy...

@jill_a55: We have the Hudson crib, too I love the Hudson changing table, but it was a little too long for our space. We haven't had a problem with having stuff in the drawers instead of on the side. It's really easy to just reach into the drawer and grab it. Plus I like that it's out of sight--it looks less cluttered that way.

I have the same changer as @CHAR54 and it is incredible! So easy to clean and probably one of the best purchases we bought for our LO. When LO was really little we brought it when we were traveling. She could be screaming and the second we'd put her in her peanut she'd stop screaming and start cooing - I want one for myself! It's called the Keekaroo and I can't recommend it enough.

We don't have room for a stand alone changing table so we bought a cot-top one. I love it. I have all the change things in the top drawer of the dresser next to it. I'm not sure how much i'm going to like it when DD gets bigger and we have to keep removing it for naps and bedtime, though!!

We bought the changing table from Amazon. It was a bit of a pain to install, but overall we're happy with it. It doubles as a dresser for his pajamas and sheets.

Ours is from Ikea with two shelves underneath. I bought storage cubes, also from Ikea, and had everything arranged perfectly in there (onesies, extra wipes, nappy rash cream, hair accessories, towels and washcloths, etc). Now that LO is 17 months old, I've had to rethink what I keep in the storage cubes, but we still use the change table all the time. Personally, I like the rails and the fact that the mat is super secure in there, the change mats on top of dressers make me nervous!

We use the Hemnes drawers from Ikea. We don't have a lot of room in the nursery and it fit the space perfectly. I like the height of it. There's just enough room beside the change pad for a basket of dipes and the wipe warmer.

We haven't actually used ours yet, but it's just a dresser with the Keekaroo Peanut changer on top. Diapering stuff is in the top drawer.
