We just got a upgraded to a king bed after sleeping on what felt like a pile of bricks for the past two years. Woohoo! Now i'm looking for a conforter/duvet. I want something modern. We're going to paint our room eventually, but right now it's just white, so we can really pick anything colorwise and just match the paint later.

i found our duvet at tjmaxx - i like that the colors are bright and versatile, and even thought it's floral it doesn't feel old-fashioned to me at all. 
ETA: don't you love my childhood bunny?! haha. it's gone from being my old favorite to my doggies' favorite snuggle buddy. (don't worry, it goes on the floor when we get in the bed! haha. i'm saving it for a baby someday!)

We just upgraded to a King too and after much deliberation decided upon Crane and Canopy's Dolores...It's not on my bed yet but the fabric is SO soft, it's unreal for the price. There were so many that I could have chosen from! I really like their styles. I can't wait to set it up!

@Happygal: Ikea!! We really love it, we use the box springs that came with the mattress instead of the slats that you can buy at Ikea. It makes the bed really tall, but we like it a lot! Has held up really well, going strong after 4 years!

dh is always really hot at night so we got this light quilt at west elm recently and I'm really liking it! it's reversible so one side is a very basic gray and the other looks like butterflies, which I didn't realize from the stock photo, because it's probably girlier than dh would normally let me get

we have a Marimekko duvet from Crate and Barrel that I adore but that they don't make anymore (it's the Madison print in yellow), but it's a little too heavy for dh so we rarely use it

I ended up buying this organic set in GRAY b/c DH hates to much color.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: DH had the same complaint at first!! I eventually wore him down enough that he let me buy it (it took months and me buying another cover that we both hated) and now he'll admit that he likes it and that he should have just let me buy it when I first asked for it.

Oh my! Everyone's bedding is so pretty!!! Ours is something lame from Walmart that I bought in a hurry because we upgraded from a full to a queen and had nothing! I'm currently in the market for something new and have been scouring websites for weeks! Where can I get the most bang for my buck!?!
