I'm getting my first tattoo soon. Does anyone have advice on what I can expect?? I'm nervous!

I have one on my wrist, foot, and neck (hard to get a good picture).

I have one on my butt
A small paper airplane on my upper back (no pictures of it on my current phone)
A feather pen and some I Irish words on my left side which is a tad distorted from pregnancy.
And a small tattoo on my wrist. Like the blog post mentioned, I don't regret any of them but don't necessarily love all of them in the same way I did when I got them. My only regret was that I got most of them when I was 18/19 and was broke. You get what you pay for and the quality could definitely be better. But it is what it is! -
I'll add my two previous ones here. I also have two on my back, but I can't get a photo of them...

@ustechie: Thank you! No, I have another on my left hip. DW's initials in the same font as this one! Planning a third for when my elderly dog passes (hopefully a long long time from now). His footprint, which I already took in ink.

It's a blurry selfie of half of my rib piece. It's about 12"x8" took 3.5 hours. Hand drawn. I got it in 2008. It's my only tattoo.

I always think I'll spend some money on a new one but I have a hard time justifying it when the kids have stuff they need, or we have to pay a bill, etc...

Here are two of my 4 tattoos. They other ones I can't really take photos of myself.

Next one will be some kind of color only flowerish thing and or something my brother does (he just got a machine and is doing some really nice work). It's starting to feel like time.

DH and I got these "matching" tattoos to represent the day we met (10/3/2005) ... I have 10 more tattoos, but this is definitely the most important/meaningful one.
PS, I have tattoos all over ... I'd say none hurt bad enough to make me stop wanting them. Good luck!!
