My sisters and I don't take advantage of our parents so we've never had to call each other out. I would totally say something if they did though!

Yeah I've never had this issue. Sometimes my bro can be a little self centered and do things like forget birthdays and I call him out on that crap. But he wouldn't take advantage of my parents. And I doubt they would put up with it of he tried.

My brother-in-law totally takes advantage of my husband's parents. It would be pointless to talk to him about it because he's in a very selfish stage of life (just turned 21). Also, my husband's parents are the adults and should know better than to continue enabling him. It's a vicious, really annoying cycle that my husband and I try to stay out of!

I am really close to my siblings, so if that were to happen I definitely would! I also know that because we are so close, my siblings would probably listen/respect what I have to say.

@autumnlove: Ouch! That's what we're hoping doesn't happen with my BIL. We'll see...

um... well i think depending on the person "taking advantage" might mean something else. We get spoiled a lot by our parents and being 4 girls it's not always in the same way.
But in the end, it's nothing drastic and my parents are well aware. So no, i don't say anything.
