I declared today a sick day. I don't work today but I still am "sick" enough not to leave the house. I tried to get my husband to stay home sick too but he refused!
I'm watching Les Miserables in my muumuu. How do you celebrate sick days?

Lol! I'm actually sick today so it's pajama day at my house. And quite possibly a Sesame Street marathon day.

@anonysquire: Just wanna say that I appreciate that picture of Homer in the muumuu. So great.

@chopsuey: I'm lucky my cats don't need too much of my attention.
@ms.janedoe: I couldn't help posting it lol. It was either that or the extremely obese woman in a muumuu with some front bummage hanging out but that could have been offensive.
@sheskrafty: Yes!

I am currently home sick, kicking it in a sports bra and shorts. My neighbors must think I'm so klassy with my almost 37 week belly hanging out, but I do not care.

@evansjamie: I haven't hit the neighborhood in my muumuu yet but hopefully will soon. Seriously this thing is the best though. I am going to give birth and die in this thing. (Not at the same time)

LOL the homer picture kills me! enjoy your sick day, i prefer to call them "mental health days" and spend them glued to hbo reruns on my apple tv.

When I was working I don't think I ever took a sick day. Now that I'm home with LO I don't get any.

I'm sick currently with a nasty head-cold and pregnant so I can't take much for it, and made DH stay home with DD today so I could stay in bed. It's probably my first actual sick day where I get to rest, since becoming a mom.

Before LO, I would binge on ice cream and pop-sickles. With LO, no day is a sick day

Before LO, I watched TV and surfed the web! After LO, I work. Because the little sick time I have, I have to spend on HER sick days!

@anonysquire : I don't ever have sick days..I swear I am like the healthiest person I know. Which is good, but kind of sucks because sometimes a girl just needs a day off. One day towards the end of my pregnancy I just took a day off for the heck of it and my neighbor texted me like four times during the first part of the day just to make sure I was okay because my car is NEVER home during the day and it was odd that it was. Uh okay creeper watching me that closely to notice. Then again, this is UT, some people are of a different breed here.

@lioneyes: it is definitely a mental health day!
@MrsKoala: I might turn on Netflix now that you mention it.
@runsyellowlites: And now I really want ice cream! I got a Ben and Jerry's pint last week and some monster ate the whole thing in 24 hours!
@purrpletulips: Do you at least get to wear pjs?
@oliviaoblivia: Well can you take one with her? Just lay on the couch on your side and you make a triangle with your legs and bum and the back of the couch and call it a nest and slide her right in!
@erinpye: Oh no!!! Feel better soon
@MarieJ: Lol don't tell me these things!!!
@LazyLightning: Oh man, you guys are all freaking super moms!
@spinningry: Hahahahahaha that is the funniest thing I've heard! Hey and I live in draper Utah!!

@spinningry: I have to add... My neighbor is a single dad that has custody of his son full time and one day I saw his car there all day. On a work day! I couldn't stop myself from thinking he had killed himself. But right before I was going to go search his house he drove off. I guess I'm one of those different breeds lol.

@anonysquire : Hey a fellow Utah-er!! I'm down in Sanpete..haha which takes it to a whole other level. That's funny! I always wonder about people, but I guess the fact that she kept texting me and texting me is what threw me off.

@spinningry: hahhahahahhahahah my neighbors should be glad I don't have their numbers. I live behind my parents and have called my mom like a million times when there are window fixers or other strange men because I think they are breaking in lol. Omg ok now I really am one of those people...
