Im in new mommy panic mode ! DH just woke up violently ill. Throwing up. I don't think it's something he ate because we had the same thing for dinner. I'm so afraid this is a virus and LO laid on his daddy all evening. He is 4 weeks old. Oh I pray my baby doesn't get sick !

Wash your hands before touching LO, hand hygiene goes a long way. If LO gets sick make sure he/she gets lots of fluids.
When DS had a tummy bug we had to feed him boiled, cooled water (or breast milk or a solution specific for dehydrated kiddos) with a syringe.
Good news is tummy bugs usually pass within 24 hours, even if your LO gets sick you'll get through it!

LO is nursing now and then he and I are moving to the guest room for the rest of the night. I hand sanitize like crazy so I hope that helps . Poor DH I just don't want the baby to get it. He seems to feel ok right now though so fingers crossed

@coacheswife123: Another great thing is those cans of lysol spray. Just spray as much as you can and pray for the best. Sometimes its easier than wiping everything down (door handles, light switches, kitchen sink, etc)>

Ack, I'm sorry! This happened to us too when LO was 10 days. DH wore a mask we picked up from the drug store and we washed hands and lysoled like crazy. Fingers crossed for you!

@rattles: maybe we should get a mask. I'm making him stay in the bedroom and have seriously Lysol sprayed the rest of the house !
