for anyone whose baby has been sick, how did it start? I can't figure out if she's getting sick or growing - or if I'm just a paranoid FTM!

she has had occasional boogies since we have brought her home, no major congestion and still none now. no fever, no eye boogies.

but yesterday she was not herself - I got only a few smiles all day and she slept the majority of it, though when she woke she woke wailing until I soothed her. she seemed only content for me to hold her. she did give DH some smiles when he got home, and then melted down last night and I got quite a bit of gas out of her (farts).

she slept well..and woke up this morning smiling (like yesterday). she was chatty while I showered, but then after I started to feed her she started fussing and fell asleep on me a little before 10, and has been in and out sleeping ever since. she hasn't made a peep from her swing except to kind of vacantly stare at the christmas tree and try to get her hands in her mouth.

she isn't warm to the touch (so no fever). am I being over-paranoid? she has her 2-month appt tomorrow, but she's usually SO smiley and chatty that this is making me sad
