I had my trigger shot last night at 10PM. First of all, my gosh, it was SO hard to get it all in the syringe. What a pain.
Today, the injection site is VERY sore and I feel nauseous along with a pretty awful headache. It's weird because my hubby has injected me every day with Menopur for 8 days and the injection site didn't hurt at all.
Anyone else experience this?

Yes, my side effects were awful. I had the shot in my arm (I think it was Novarel?) and it was very sore for a couple days - like getting a tetanus shot. It also made me very emotional, nauseous, sore boobs, cramps. The whole nine yards of lovely side effects. But hey, it did the trick

@CatchAFallingStar: I knocked out from the trigger shot & felt so bloated. DH actually injected the back of my biceps because the nurse said that wouldn't hurt me quite as much. We triggered while I was at the RE's office and the nurse coaching DH how to mix the medicine (pregnyl). Trigger was at 10:30 am & I slept on the way home, ate lunch, and was exhausted all day and evening. FX for you!

I felt a little dizzy/nauseous and VERY headachy if I didn't drink a TON of water the couple of days after my HCG trigger. Happened every time...
