Were there any baby-related things you bought that seemed so dumb at the time but you now realize are invaluable?
For me, it was the wubbanub and a stroller hand muff. When DH first saw the hand muff he thought it was the stupidest thing but now realizes it's an essential! We actually fight over who gets to push the stroller because pushing = warm hands!

My DH thought the Boppy was ridiculous bc we have so many pillows on our sofa and our beds...He said "Why can't we use one of the 14 million pillows around our house?" He now LOVES the Boppy and is always using it even when not holding LO! I joked that I'm going to get him his own Boppy:)

The Mommy Clip. I thought it was so gimmicky but I use it all the time!

@winniebee: @Mrs. Cowgirl: I actually don't use mine anymore! I used to put shopping bags on it but one day almost flipped the stroller due to the uneven weight distribution and I freaked! Maybe I'll start using it again since LO weighs a LOT more than she used to.

I would say ours was the Cloud B sleep giraffe. I bought it because it was a giraffe but really we use it all the time.

Fisher Price ocean wonders aquarium. I didn't want it but man she loves that thing.

The crib mobile - I think they're so ugly but it would keep DS occupied while I folded laundry, cleaned up the room, etc.
Wipes warmer - everyone told me it was silly, but when my happy newborn trembled and cried during diaper changes, I caved and bought one and so glad I did.
