My brother and I weren't allowed to watch it growing up, didn't even watch an episode 'til hs?
DH on the other hand grew up watching it and still watches it every night at 11pm (reruns~)

I wasn't allowed to watch the Simpsons (but was allowed to watch The Exorcist at six...go figure) growing up. I probably first watched it as an adult? We'll occasionally flick it on if there's nothing else on and we're lazy.

I've seen less than one full episode ever. It's just not a show that I'm in to. Crude humor bothers me.

Try to relate with my confusion when kids were laughing at me/us and making jokes. Wasn't allowed to watch it, so had no idea what anyone was ever talking about!

We were allowed to watch it. I wasn't a big fan so I would only watch it if my brother put it on.

I never used to watch it, but now I will occasionally just because DH has it on. I don't really care for it though. I'm more of a family guy fan!

No, I didn't get into it until college. My dad hates the STimpsons, so we weren't allowed to watch it.

Nope, we were never allowed. Didn't watch it until I left home and now I think I've seen them all.
