Hi! I'm looking at the baby k'tan and trying to figure out sizing. I normally wear a size 4 pre pregnancy, but I gained weight while TTC and was wearing size 6. Now during pregnancy, I'm wearing size 8. What size should I get?

I'm a 4 and wore an XS. It fit well until baby got bigger, but ktan works best in early stages anyway.

@Mrs Green Grass: were you still wearing 4 during pregnancy? I'm thinking I should get a small, since I feel the medium would be big pretty quickly.

Probably a small or x-small. I bought a small and medium and the small was good for the early days but now it's tight. I'm usually a size 8 but the medium fits me and DD better right now (size 10).

love my k'tan... xs for you. you do want it to fit snug because it will stretch some.

@BandDmommy: I wear a medium, and I'm solidly a 12-14. I think it would be way too big on you! Small would probably be good, but maybe even an XS.

I'm similar in size to you and ordered a S, which was a great fit (I hate when things are too tight, so I think I would have regretted an XS). J was a really large baby, though, and outgrew it pretty quickly, so I somewhat regret not ordering the M - not sure if it would have helped him stay in it longer or not, but I think the issue was his size, not mine!

I wear a 6/8 and found a small to be the right size. It stretched out enough that if anything, I'd have gone smaller. My DH wore a medium, and I never used his because it was way too big.

Maybe take your height into consideration, too? I'm a 2-6 non pregnant and definitely wore some 8-10 in pregnancy but I'm only 5'1, so XS is fine. And I still use it now when LO is 18lbs with no problem. I found their size chart to be accurate for me.

XS. You DON'T want it to be too big.

@BandDmommy: no, I still wore small/med tops (and much larger than normal chest) and prob an 8 in pants, but my baby was pretty small.
