Anyone have one for their child?
LO is 2 and goes to daycare. She does get work from school, like her papers from the previous week, so it's not just for the cuteness factor. I want to get her one, but not sure if it'll be way too big for her.

I'm shopping for a backpack for my son!! Half of the kids in his classroom have skip hop backpacks so I didn't want to get his confused with everyone else's. So I'm looking for an alternative.
I hear that standard sized folders (and assuming maybe paper, too) don't fit in those bags, if that's something that's important to you.

We have one but not for daycare - it doesn't fit all her stuff that she needs to bring at the start of the week.
I bought her the Skip Hop backpack as an alternative to using a diaper bag. When we're out and about, a few diapers, wipes, some snacks, and whatnot fit perfectly and it's not as big as her diaper bag was.

My LO has the Skip Hop Fox for daycare with his name embroidered on it. It's too big for him to carry, and serves more like his emergency diaper bag (diaper, wipes, sippy cup, etc.) in case whoever picks him up wants to run an errand. Certainly more comfortable for DH to walk around with.

We bought the dog off ebay. I am sure its a rip off one because it was so cheap. Shes a little young to use it but she understands the concept!

We have the bee bookbag, and it acts more like a diaper bag on the go (no diapers, just change of clothes, snacks, and travel potty seat) like @Rubies .

My son has the puppy dog skip hop and he is a very very very tiny (9-12 month clothes) 2 year old. He can easily carry the skip hop. I also use it as a diaper bag when we are out and about (Disneyland). He loves his backpack. All backpacks are huge but this is a good middle size for his stuff and his papers.

I also
Have the fox! I love it and DD does as well.
It probably is slightly too big for her
But she can still carry it. Yes standard folders can't fit in it. Our
Preschool asks us to get the plastic ones so we are
Able to fold the corners to stuff it in!

We have the owl and use it in place of a diaper bag for him now that he is a toddler. Fits about 2 cloth diapers, wipes, extra clothes, a snack and a drink. We can even fit an icepack in it on the outside compartment. Its cute!
I tried putting it on p and its to big but he's only 14 months. I think by 2 it should fut ok
One thing I did read is that it does not fit the standard folder size...something to think about.....I wanted.to use this back pact for peek but I don't think we can now BC of the sizing

Thanks ladies! That really helped! She doesn't have a take home folder(won't get that til pre-k) so folded papers are fine.
So excited! She liked the cat the best, I wanted the ladybug.lol
