I know Skip Hop backpacks are pretty popular on here. Any reasons why? And/or recommendations for a fun backpack? My bestie's daughter is starting pre-school and I just wanted to get something fun and not too expensive - the girl loses/leaves things everywhere!

they are so cute! but no LO yet to vouch for how they hold up. I got my cousins daughter a little lunch bag and matching sippy cup thing for it and she loves it! takes it every where.

We have the Fox backpack and lunch bag. I bought it because it's cute! It cleans up well though.

We have the elephant one. It was sent to us by mistake so I had my son use it when he started a 2 year preschool program. It was too big for him as he was only carrying his lunch to school. Eventually, my sister gifted him a lunch bag which he still uses now. We picked up a backpack on sale from pottery barn recently for when he starts kindergarten next year. My daughter still plays with the skip hop backpack at home. She loves carrying it around. Their lunch bag is by beatrix ny and they sell backpacks as well- they have cute designs. Personally, I like the ones from north face/kelty kids or other outdoorsy brands because I'm not a fan of the cutesy ones as the kids get older.

We have a penguin and bee! They're both super cute
I gave penguin skip hop back packs away as a party favor for DS' 1st birthday
I think they were a hit!
