we're struggling with this right now. it seems like it happened over night! my LO is 8 months. honestly, I just nurse to sleep and then rock/nurse as necessary at night. it's a lot less painful than listening to her cry it's a truly heartbroken cry, too, not just annoyed or mad - and she wails, "mama!' and pulls the bumper down to stare out the crib slats at the door
it's awful!
I'm hoping that in time, this will pass too. she doesn't do it for every nap or nighttime sleep.
