Ugh, I think we just hit the six month sleep regression. LO is on the verge of crawling and woke up at 2am on her tummy with her legs jammed through the crib slats and then dozed fitfully and wouldn't really settle. We ended up getting her up at 5.30 and she went to sleep at 6am for an hour long nap relatively easily. But she would not go down for her morning nap, despite showing all the tired signs. I ended up having to nurse her down which I never ever do, and now I'm worried that I'm going to undo all our hard work coaching her to fall asleep by herself.
What's your approach to a sleep regression? Go back to doing whatever it takes to get through it and trust things will go back to normal, or stay consistent? I've read conflicting advice on how to approach it.
