O.M.G. The past couple of nights have been exhausting! The first night K decided to roll over in her crib while sleeping, I was a nervous wreck, but SHE slept fine! Turned her head to her side and just peacefully slept away...
Night Two of rolling in her sleep was a completely different thing! I think I must have had to go get her 7-8 times! She even set off the Angel Care monitor alarm for real (not just the one or two beeps!) If I flipped her back onto her back, she'd be rolling back before I even moved my hands from her body! I'd try to wait it out, but eventually she'd be doing these "pikes" and thrashing about so much, she totally wakes herself up. Last night was a little better, just 2 wake-ups from rolling, but I'm quite exhausted from all the side turning, cries, and grunts. I know this is quite common, but if it happened to your LO, how long did this last? Did you LO end up being a tummy sleeper? Did you just put your LO to bed on their tummy?
My problem is that I think K is actually a SIDE sleeper, so when she gets on her tummy and can't roll back to her side, she gets all worked up.
If she's 5 months, do you think a wedge positioner-thing would help?
