I just need some reassurance from my fellow bees! As I have posted before we have been having really significant sleep issues with my four and a half month LO. It has been a steady decline since three months reaching an all time terrible sleeping about a month ago where she wakes up every hour. Needless to say no one was getting any sleep and we were all pretty miserable.

I researched various sleep training methods and we tried two nights of Ferber but the checks seemed to irritate her even further and sent her into absolute hysterics. She was just not soothed by simply our presence and voice. Last night we tried without checks with some success. She cried for 24 minutes before falling asleep. She was up 15 minutes later and cried 12 minutes before falling asleep for three and a half hours before her first feeding. This was the longest span she has slept since November. I suppose although our first night wasn't "that bad" I'm still feeling a little guilty for trying this method before the recommended 6 months. Anyone else feeling mommy guilt while sleep training?
