Adding another sleep training question to the mix
LO is 3.5 months old. Up until now he’s been a good sleeper. Required rocking to fall asleep but then stayed asleep for 6-8 hours. He is a tummy sleeper.
He’s always been able to roll from tummy to back, by accident I think, and it was rare. Well a week ago he figured out what he was doing and now likes to roll when he wakes up. Now he’s waking up 4+ times a night by rolling over. He refuses to sleep on his back (has refused since he was 1 week old) so he lays there happily until he gets fed up and starts fussing or crying. We go and rock him back to sleep. He doesn’t know how to roll from back to front that I’m aware of.
I’ve been thinking about doing some light sleep training (haven’t decided method yet) to get him to fall asleep on his own but I’m worried it won’t really work b/c eventually he’ll just roll over, get stuck on his back, and never fall asleep.
Anyone have or had a similar problem? Am I worried over nothing? Tips/tricks?
