That sounds like a success to me! I think some kids jut need to fuss a bit before falling asleep.

@sorrycharlie: Same here, although we're down to one waking during the night...unless he's actively teething, and then it's a whole other ball game. But we only sleep-trained him to transition him from our bed to his own crib in his own room. If a night waking wakes me up, I respond.

We called it a success when we stopped having to walk around the neighborhood for two hours a night to get her down. She has always cried before sleeping. It used to be in the carrier as we walked and now at 7 months it's during PJ time. I think she just needs to cry. She doesn't mind being put in her crib.
