Hive...I'm sleep training my little 14 mos toddler again. It's been rough as you can expect. I've done a gradual process of doing the CIO extinction method. We're on week 2 where I leave the room quickly, before I stayed there until he fell asleep. He falls asleep but his sleep seems to have drastically shortened from his first nap being 2 hrs to like 3o mins. My guess is that having him fall asleep frustrated and pissed off = poor sleep. When he wakes up, he's not refreshed and wants to be held all day. If I leave his sight of vision for a moment, he freaks out. Any one else experienced this? Is this just a transitional time and will his sleep length will bounce back? I'm all ears.
My dream is to not have to write another post about sleep training
