Alright, it's time. The background: DD is 12.5 months old and has been putting herself to sleep since 4.5 months. We always have done EASY. We travel a lot so while we don't have an exact routine, she falls asleep relatively the same for me or DH and for my parents. When she was little, she dropped feedings on her own and had long stretches often so I thought we'd get to STTN early. A regression hit around 7.5 months so she went back to 2 MOTN wakings, then back to 1, which was always right in the middle of her sleep cycle. Literally 6-7 hours from bedtime and back to sleep for 5-6 hours!

Now after sickness, teeth and travel, she's back to 2 MOTN wakings that are 4-5 hours apart and definitely habit. DH is on board for sleep training as I currently nurse before she'll fall asleep again! DH went in this morning to comfort her instead of me and she battled for an hour til he gave up, I nursed her for a couple minutes and put her back in her crib awake where she fell back asleep.

So now that you have our background (so long!) I need your help figuring out how to sleep train/night wean her. We've been talking about it for 6 weeks and it's time to get serious. Please help! DH agreed to get a game plan and stick with it until it works.
