LO 2 wears short sleep rompers from Baby Gap and a light AA Sleepsack on warm days.

we did the halo sleep sacks with nothing on underneath.

i stopped using a sleepsack last summer when LO was about 8 or 9 months i think. He slept in thin cotton footed pjs, and in the winter he wore fleece pjs

We always put M in a long-sleeve onesie and cotton sleep sack. She runs warm and footed pjs + a sleepsack would definitely make her sweat.

We run our air at night and keep it around 74ish degrees. We found thin cotton sleepsacks at Carter's that come with a long sleeve T-shirt, and they work great so far.

We use the super light weight A+A muslin sleep sack - it's almost like nothing. DD really likes using the sack, so we have been just putting less on her in terms of PJs. Last night (our AC was on - set to 78), she wore a tank/shorts PJ set and the light sack.

Last summer we used the super light A&A sleep sacks--they're just one layer of muslin--over short sleeved t shirts and shorts. But you could even just do them over a diaper if you think she needs the feel of a sleep sack. This summer, I'm not using sleep sacks very much--just putting him in t shirts and pants so far, unless the A/c makes the room really chilly.

We stopped using sleep sacks when the weather got warm last year - like 80s warm. Her room doesn't have great airflow. It never bothered her, did nothing in terms of her moving around in the crib (was already standing and walking in her sleep sack anyway).

@septca: Unless we know it's going to be really hot, we usually put socks on her. No real reason other than habit.

@septca: I wondered this too but so far no. Now in the winter if she isn't sleeping in a footed sleeper I will put socks on her. R seems to run hot like her Daddy though.

we just ditched the sleep sacks on a whim when her room was 77 before bedtime! so now it's just jammies. last summer was a diaper and halo sleep sack.

We just switched to long sleeve onesie plus long pants, with a cotton halo sleepsack since it's finally getting warm here (I think it's around 75 in the house right now). It was really hot this aftn during her nap so I just did short sleeve onesie with sleepsack, no pants.

Can you ditch it? We forgot to pack ours one night, E sleep fine without it, and we've been sleep sack free since. And it makes things SOOOO much easier. Especially because she has this habit of pooping at night once in awhile now. And when it's really hot, we just do a diaper and t-shirt (or no t-shirt). She doesn't seem to care or miss the blanket aspect in the least.

When it's cool in the winter, we'll just bump the heat up. But by then she will be almost 2, so we'll see if she wants/needs a blanket by then. More than likely, we'll just do warmer fleece style pants+socks
