My 2.5 year old son just started potty training, but he is really small. He typically wears size 18 month pants and even then most of them fall down.
Does anyone know of an underwear brand that runs really small? Everything I have found on Amazon is 2T-3T.

We use the 2t-3t character underwear (like @gotkimchi: pictured) from Target, but you can get it anywhere. It fits our tiny butt guy well.

Walmart has small underwear, fits my skinny kid and they also have underwear for younger ages than a lot of other places.

I found the character underwear from Target runs really small. My son was wearing 2T when we first started potty training and I had to buy the 4T-5T underwear, the other was too small.

Also had the best luck with the character underwear from Target. I also used some girl undies on my son when he first potty trained (from my older daughter) which ran much slimmer than boys.

@RonjaL7: those "training pants" type underwear ran small, I thought. Also on my oldest I feel like Hanes ran smaller than other brands. But that's girl sizes, can't remember about toddler.

The carters training pants and then the thomas the train ones from Target in 2T work great on my 40" tall 36 lb 2 1/2 year old. He just outgrew 24 month shorts, but has to have 3T-4T pants for the length with the waist cinched down.

H&M has a 1.5-2y size and it’s the only thing that fits my super tiny kiddo!

You could also try boxer briefs, that’s what my son has always worn. Then you don’t have to worry about the leg opening being too big.
