Does anyone have a recommendation for a sling? I am strictly looking for something to carry my tall 9 month old in on my hip. Thanks!

I had both a Maya Wrap ring sling and a Hotsling pouch for hip carries. I prefer the pouch but then DH wasn't using it so adjust-ability wasn't a factor.

I haven't used it to hip carry yet as my son is only 14 weeks, but I love my Babasling. It's easy to use, wear, and adjust.

Thanks everyone, I've had a look through all of the ones you suggested and I think a ring sling might work out best - it looks the most lightweight and I will be in a hot climate. So based on that, the cheapest one is Sleeping Baby Productions, however, she has some strange system where you have to keep checking in to see if she has time to make one. Unfortunately, I can't wait too long, I need it in the next 2 weeks. Anyone have any other ring sling recs under $50?

Check a local second hand baby/kid's shop, I found my sling for $12, practically brand new.

@lemondrop: I agree! After seeing this, I started looking on Craigslist and found tons of them on there for cheap.
