Anyone have any recommendations? Something like your typical Uggs, but waterproof. I have tall Joan of Arctic Sorels, but looking for something I can just slip on/off to go to school pickup, etc.

I wear tall classic bog boots. They are easy to get on and off, they are waterproof, and I find them warm. DD and DH wear bogs too!

I splurged on Ugg Sienna boots and they are ridiculously cozy but waterproof. I think I had to size up if you’re between sizes FYI.

I second bogs. We also have them for the whole family—warm, waterproof, easy on/off.

I like Bogs. I have a pair myself... But why is it only a rain boot? why can't they make a liner inside...?

@bakingdoodle: they make insulated ones too. Mine are old but similar to this; https://www.bogsfootwear.com/shop/style/72701-001.html and keep me warm all winter for quick trips and snow below the handle level

@bakingdoodle: I definitely consider my bog boots winter boots not rain boots. They don't have a removable liner like some boots but they are insulated and rated down to -40F. I live in Maine and wear them all winter and find them very warm.

@catgirl: @karenbme: You confirmed that people do buy from their website. I only bought Bog boots at TJMaxx and they only have rainboots... they are more colorful.

I asked this same question maybe here or somewhere else last year and I ended up lucking out by finding something at Costco that totally worked for these purposes. They're warm, water proof and easy to slip on/off. They were less than $25. Obviously the ones I got probably won't be there this year but they might have something similar. I turn to these more often than my true winter boots b/c they're super easy to get in and out of.

I lived in MA for over 15 years before finally getting a pair of Bogs (could not have afforded them when I was younger and working through school, which got me in the habit of buying cheap boots that were essentially useless in super gross weather). I have to say, life-changing. I've had mine for a few years. They still look pretty new and handle gross snow, slush, sleet, super cold rain, etc really well. I'd also highly recommend...

@bakingdoodle: They make colorful winter boots too, I just like a black boot. 🖤
