LO has had a nasty snotty nose for several days now and her poor nose is getting so red and sore from me wiping it. How can I make it feel better?

Could you put some aquaphor or something on it? Also, you may want to try the Nosfrida or some Vicks to help.

Maybe some lotion or cream on it? I hope she feels better soon!

I use Lansinoh when LO's nose gets gross. That way it's ok if she ends up licking some off.
If it fixed my nipples it can fix her nose. -
Aquaphor or baby Eucerin. It's good for when LO's skin gets dry and crusty.

@NurseMommy: Aquaphor is a strong skin cream or moisturizer. You can find it at Walgreens/CVS, etc.

When lo's started getting like that I started using the Boogie Wipes to wipe his nose instead of tissues since they have saline in them. Don't know if that would help at all at this point but they have worked pretty well for us.

@NurseMommy: I've picked it up at safeway, but you can get it just about everywhere. It's very similar to petroleum jelly to be honest.

Aquafor, coconut oil, lotion... anything to keep that area moisturized. I also use Boogie Wipes in lieu of tissues.

We use vaseline and Honest Company healing balm. We also love the Boogie wipes, but only if the nose hasn't gotten raw yet. Otherwise, it's super painful to get a raw nose wiped with a salty towel!

Warm rags to wipe with and lots of aquaphor/neosporin/vaseline type stuff at night and in between.

I use saline wipes (Boogie wipes, unscented) and lots of lotion/aquaphor/chapstick. I rarely use regular wipes or tissues because it seems to really irritate her skin.
