The mose inspiring/positive people in my life are you HB girls (and guys to @MrBee). I find this place is my zen place to vent, ask questions and learn about how to be a good mom, wife and citizen. I often set myself to a higher standard based on what I learn here.

I'm lucky to work with a person like this. She is a Reiki healer, and a complete spiritual blessing to me on a daily basis.

Both my parents. I know I am biased but they are the most amazing people to me. So generous, loving and perfect! A couple years ago I was going through a lot of rough stuff. Stuff that two highly religious people would be tempted to just let me handle it on my own. Never did I feel judged or any less of a person. They helped me through it and I never felt like the worst of the kids. My dad is in a leadership position in our church and he is so selfless, always taking care of the neighborhood and everyone in it. He also owns his own business and I have never met a harder worker. My parents have the most amazing relationship, I have never heard them say a mean word to eachother and they have never been in a fight. They always take time for themselves, and have weekly dates and lunch dates. So cute! Anyways I am so blessed to have 2 amazing examples in my life!!!!

The person that has been particularly inspiring to me over the past 2-3 years recently passed away. She and her husband led our newlywed small group. While fighting a very hard battle with cancer, she was amazing at loving her husband and three children sacrificially and fiercely. She taught me so many things, and I hope that I can one day be half the wife, mother, and friend that she was.

My DH He is the hardest-working and most giving man I know, and really pushes me to do my best and keep moving towards my goals. I definitely would not be where I am today if I hadn't met him and had his encouragement and support. I use him as an example of how to live my life, and I'm better for it.

I have been thinking about this recently and have come to the conclusion that for me, this person is actually my step-father. I honestly had a hard time wrapping my head around that because I just kept thinking that it should be my mom or my dad. But my step-dad is an amazing person - generous, compassionate, welcoming, and hard-working.

My mommy
She's always so full of energy and there for you whenever you need her. When anybody is sick, she's the first person to run to the store and spend hours in the kitchen making a big pot of chicken soup for them. She inspires me to want to be a better person, and especially a better mother.

My dad. He is a perfect example for jack of all trades. He's brilliant academically and on all topics. He can fix everything. Need a new electrical outlet installed - check, need a new computer built - check, need to change your timing belt - check, need help reconciling your T chart accounts - check, need help with your VB programming homework - check. The list goes on infinitely. He's the first person the hubby and I call when we run into a problem. Google is #2.
