and it starts at 2 (in about 20 minutes). DH is at work 45-50 minutes away until 2ish. Then he has to stop home to get us (R just went down for her afternoon nap at 1) and the party is about 15-20 minutes from our house. Is it worth it to go? Maybe we should just drop off the gift.

I would still go since you'll probably make it in time for cake, but text the mom that you have transportation issues.

Go. We attended a bday party 4 hours away once and arrived just in time for cake. With the distance being so far away it took us a long time to decide to go. Everyone was glad we made it.
