We have leather sofas that I don't love because of the style, but I am so thankful DH talked me into them. I don't even want to think how many times we've wiped off puke, poo, food, drool, you name it and we are only on kid #1. I still can't wait to upgrade to something prettier, though. 
What kind of fabric do you have on your sofa(s)?

Ours is fabric - kind of like felt? There's already stains on it from my LO. We now have a sheet covering the seat part to hopefully prevent some additional staining.

Ours is technically microfiber, but it doesn't look/feel like what I consider traditional microfiber. It just looks like fabric with a herringbone pattern. We picked it because it's completely machine washable and pretty at the same time.

Ours are microfiber (kind of look/feel like suede) but I wish we had linen. I know linen is hard to wash and keep clean, but I just think it is soooooooo beautiful.

The couch downstairs is fabric with a quilted sheet covering it. For upstairs, we've been debating a couch for years! I wasn't happy with the ones available locally and we've held off buying one -- until now. With the baby on it's way I'm no longer as picky and just tired of sitting on those low Ikea chairs while we watch TV.
We ended up getting a black leather sofa. It'll be delivered this Thursday! I'll be low maintenance, I'm pretty happy with that.

Ours is microfiber right now, which I don't love, but I do like the ease of cleaning.
Eventually, we'll do velvet and linen, but once we're out of the sticky fingers years!

Ours is a microfiber, and I'm very thankful that we got the stain protector on it. Even with just a dog now it is always getting spilled on and what not, I can't even imagine what happens when baby arrives!

ours are microfiber, which is great for us, but I find it makes me really warm. I so wish we could get leather but we have two small dogs that would scratch it up in the first minute.

Ours is fabric... same as the wagons, we couldn't do leather with our two furbabies. Thank goondness for fabric protection/warranty!

We also have leather. They were dhs before I came around. I also hats the look, but for now its worth it because they're so easy to clean.
