How many do you eat?
How many do you eat?

Probably 2.... or 6, depending on how good they are. I might eat a couple and hide the rest from my husband.

Depends on the cookie. If they are still soft, I'll probably eat 4-6 of them.
If the cookies are hard, I might eat 1.
Now I want some cookies!!

I was going to eat 1 maybe 2 - but man they were good. So then I had another and another and thought what the heck might as well eat them all!
They were soft oatmeal cookies with bits of chocolate, cranberries, and heath toffee - OMG delicious!
I told her someone stole them off my desk and she should bring me more - she looked horrified until I told her, Oh, I mean I ate them all

@Mamaof2: Today I am 40 weeks + 3 days. Assuming they have some form of chocolate, are chewy, and I am given them at work, this is how it would go down:
Eat 2 now with the intentions of saving the rest. 20 minutes later eat another one. Drink some water and chew a piece of gum until it loses it's flavor. Eat the 4th cookie. Eat the 5th cookie. Feel foolish, there is one damn cookie left. Eat it.
The span of time this covers is dependent on a) how many meetings I have and b) how many interruptions I get.
If I weren't pregnant, that would all go down very differently, first with me politely only accepting one cookie or putting the remaining 5 in the common kitchen.

@twodoghouse: I would do that, then the cookie would taunt me. Then I'd eat it on the way home with a side of guilt. But it would taste so good that I would forget about the guilt.
DH has no idea how many things I intended to bring home for him, ha!

Ah I have to be nice and leave DH 3! I know that's what he would do for me.

@Espion: hahahaha. I am the same.exact.way. "Oh dear, we got cookies today, I'll bring you one!" When I get home (after I ate it on the way home) "Oh man, I left it at work. I'm sorry that it will be stale tomorrow....."

Um - all! DD and I baked cookies yesterday. I made the mistake of sending my ILs home with some. Someone ate some more after dinner as dessert from my stash. Now I only have one left.

All the cookies! Unless DH would really like them, then he might get one or two. I should make cookies...

All the cookies. I might feel a fleeting pang of guilt for not saving one for DH, but I'd get over it fast.

I'd probably try to keep it to two and save the rest for later. Except at the Super Bowl party I went to, my friend made these cookies that were so good I'm pretty sure I ended up eating about ten....

Depends on how soft they are.
Usually I graciously accept and take it home. I'll have a bite to taste and throw it all out. If they're good, I'll probably have one or two and share the rest with the family. But so far that hasn't happened yet.
I usually toss them out, 90% of the time.
