Something good: Charlie got into our elementary school of choice!
Something bad: Feeling very overwhelmed lately with house stuff, work, life... It's been hard to motivate to get things done!

Good: I aced my last exam and I think I should be able to pull A's in both classes this semester (crossing fingers!!!)
Bad: I need to get our brakes replaced and I have been putting it off because I know how expensive it it

Good: We're going on vacation soon!
Bad: My husband has been having a really tough time at work. I feel bad that I can't make him feel better about it.

Good: Being a new mama - DD is amazing and I feel so blessed to be her mama.
Bad: lack of sleep!!!!

Good: I was able to go grocery shopping last night without gagging from all the smells even once, and I haven't thrown up since having to go to the hospital two weeks ago for IV fluids/antibiotics/hypermesis gravidarum meds. That is HUGE for me, I'm only 15 weeks and with DS I threw up my entire pregnancy.
Bad: Just stupid family drama. My completely irresponsible brother (can't hold down a job, mooches off my parents and his gf so he has no bills, is soooo broke yet somehow has money for cigarettes, alcohol, and Comic-Con...I could go on.) picked a stupid fight with me at Easter because he was just being unnecessarily rude, trying to stir stuff up between family members, and cussing in front of DS. Now DS's birthday party is in a few weeks and I don't want to perpetuate drama by not inviting him, but I also don't really want him there because I can't count on him not being nasty to people! Fingers crossed he just won't be able to make it, he likes to act like the best uncle ever but very rarely makes an effort to see DS.

Good: We are completely unpacked in our new house and were able to host friends for the first time this past weekend. The plans for kitchen renovation are moving forward!
Bad: taxes taxes oy oy oy. Feels like all of the good steps we took to right our financial situation were just thrown out the window.

Bad: I feel underpaid and under-challenged at work these days. Makes it hard to feel motivated.
Good: we got last minute tickets to an nba playoff game tomorrow! I'm super excited

Good - We're in the process of building a house, we're going to Vegas soon, my husband and our dogs make me smile every single day.
Bad - There is some uncertainity with the position I have right now.. I'm a contractor so I'm used to moving around but there was originally a hope of a permanent position here, but now they're not so sure.

Yay for Charlie!
Good: I have enjoyed my mat leave so much! Financially it was hard but so worth it.
Bad: DD refusing a bottle, starts daycare tomorrow, I go back to work Monday. If she reverse cycles that's fine, but solo parenting two kids and being a wohm will be a drag on lack of sleep! -
Good: 38w2d and feeling pretty good yet. Excited and ready for baby to come any time!
Bad: Work is driving me bonkers. And it's making me anxious for baby to come so I can tap out and have a break from it all (not that maternity leave is going to be easy, but at least my boss will be adorable and have her reasons for making me crazy, unlike my current boss.... lol)

Good - So far 1st trimester is not treating me too badly, and DH is very helpful & supportive to let me just be a lazy pig!
Bad - We have a lot of expenses lately, some unexpected, and I'm just worried about our finances once baby comes, especially since DH's working situation is changing a lot so I'm not really sure where we'll end up financially...

Good- I have a super cute 5 week old and he's been great!!
Bad- I'm still in pain from delivery and I want to feel better!!

Good - I seriously have the best husband in the world, and I actually got to spend some time with him yesterday
Bad - I'm still feeling low after an emotional weekend.

Good - Work is great at the moment for both DH and I. I don't think I can remember a time when we were *both* pretty happy and feeling positive about our work lives.
Bad - We have been so sick lately. LO has been sick for two months now, with only three days respite. DH and I are both so exhausted and run down that we can no longer fight off the illnesses she brings home from daycare and we are both sick too. It feels like there is no end in sight!

Good: I'm 22 weeks pregnant with our baby girl. I am so incredibly grateful.
Bad: Work has been stressful for both DH and I lately.

Good: Dh and I leave on Thursday for a baby free vacation to Florida!
Bad: DD has her first cold and it's soo soo sad.
her fever has subsided but she is so stuffy and her nose is runny. I hope she's better before we leave.

Bad: we're not sure about summer work yet...this is the challenging thing about only having work during the school year. We thought DH had a great lead, but it fell through. There's another pretty exciting possibility, though, so fingers crossed it comes through!
Good: my gorgeous 12 day old daughter

Something good: I'm 11 weeks pregnant, and all appears to be going well. We have some of the "big" tests/appointments going on right now, so just holding onto hope that all will be well.
Something bad: I head back to school tomorrow after a lovely spring break, and it's looking like I won't have a position there next year. I asked to consolidate my part-time, 5-days-a-week schedule to 2-3 days and was told no. I've put in so much overtime this year, and it stinks to feel like all the extra work was for nothing. Ahh well, 34 school days left!

Something good: We reached 34 weeks pregnant!
Something bad: DH has a bronchial infection making him miserable, and I am starting to get a cough, too

Good: We have so so much to be thankful for. DD1 is healthy, DD2 is cooking nicely. DH has a job.
Bad: I'm unemployed and MIL has cancer

Good: We're moving back to our hometown so we can be closer to friends and family.
Bad: We're having a hard time finding new jobs!

Good: New job, and E is doing AWESOME in day care!
Bad: Shitty small apartment, and all of us are sick because of aforementioned day care, lol! -
Good: I'm in the final round for a job which will allow me to move into the field I want to work in and use my PhD, in the city we want to live in.
Bad: If I get it, we have six weeks to organize an international move with a toddler. If I don't get it, I'm out of work from July and have to go through a whole lot of visa hoops. So, super stressed right now!

Good: B is at a ridiculously fun age! This kid has me laughing all. day. long.
Bad: I'm stressing over B's feeding issues and possible underlying medical condition.

Good: I am pregnant today. And I am absolutely loving my life right now - DD is at an incredibly funny age, DH is awesome, we have some really fun vacations coming up... I generally just feel really good about where things stand.
Bad: I am really nervous about this very new pregnancy and not feeling very confident that it will stick. I am also anxious about what having a second kid will mean for our family... we need a second car and a new house. We need a new childcare arrangement. I need a new job. La la la. Better not think about it.

Good : day two of minimal tantrums - maybe this will be the new normal for a while?!
Bad: my grandfather is back in the hospital and things are looking pretty bad. -
Good: Life is good. We are happy and I can feel God working and transforming things in our life.
Bad: (Knock on wood) I can't think of anything worth listing!

Good: B starts t-ball this week!
Bad: finances. DH's company is switching owners and a lot of the management is getting cut (not DH) but because of the switch going on his hours were cut back last week and this week. It makes me more grateful when he has to work a lot though...

@septca: ditto. on just about everything. new house. second car. different childcare. 12dpo squinting.
good: newly pregnant. DD is just awesome. She figured out how to blow her nose and will grab a kleenex when she needs to.
bad: I don't think this baby is sticking. I check for blood every time I go to the bathroom.

Good: My AWESOME nanny told me yesterday she wants to keep working with us...my LO is entering toddlerhood and is more challenging than he used to be. She is such a huge help to me, I'm relieved!
Bad: My DH and I are having some pretty serious arguments recently and it sucks...I've been looking for a counselor so I'm hoping we can get back on track.

Bad: still not pregnant since we started TTC in Dec 2011.It is also National infertility Awareness Week!

Good - vacation coming up which means TTC for baby #1 is on the very close horizon!
Bad - We've been doing such a good job saving and living on a budget lately, and now that the weather's getting warmer, all these house projects are coming up and eating our savings
I'm happy to see our house looking better and better, but sad to have to spend our savings...

Bad - kids are sick!
