DH and I were discussing the song Blackbird by The Beatles tonight and he told me it was about the civil rights movement. Sure enough, it is! I never knew!
What are some other songs you love but never knew the meaning behind them?

I learned not that long ago that Let it Be was about Paul's mom!
I'm sure alot of songs from that era were about other things than just what the obvious lyrical content suggested!

The song brick by Ben folds is about abortion...didn't know until a few years ago!
