Or I'll do a niggun (repetitive fake words that follow a repetitive tune, it can become trancelike)

This may sound funny, but my LO's lullaby of choice right now is Old McDonald. I just sing it slowly and in a softer voice, and don't emphasize the animal sounds, and it's actually pretty soothing.
