I'm fine with Williamsburg or NN if any of the Richmond bees want to join and meet in the middle. Otherwise we can pick somewhere in Norfolk/Ches/VB if that is better for you photojane.
Does anyone have a date in mind? I'm off during most of the summer, but I assume weekends are better?

@travelingnanny: Babies are definitely welcome, but 2 of us VA bees are currently pregnant and 1 (me) is TTC so we will be coming solo! @photojane has an adorable daughter and @carrielouwho has a little one. Are you in Norfolk?

Weekends would work best for me but I'm also open to evening weekdays as well. I'm also open to meeting wherever (I'm in Hampton) works best for everyone...I'm pretty easy : )

Weekends also work best for me! I'd probably vote for Williamsburg, but mostly because I'm coming from Richmond, but if the majority are closer to the beach I can come out that way.

I'm a SAHM, so we are super flexible on date/time. If I'm bringing Sadie, doing it somewhere on the southside would be easier for me. Williamsburg is 45 minutes to an hour from me depending on traffic, but I might be able to make it work.
What about a beach day? Is that too far from Richmond? Y'all would have to see me in my bathing suit, but other than that it would be fun!

@walnutems: How much further would it be for y'all to come to Norfolk or Virginia Beach? My sister-in-law lives just outside of Richmond, and I think it takes us about an hour/hour & 15 to get there.

@photojane: We're both in the city. It takes maybe 45mins to a hour to get to Williamsburg and probably closer to 2 hours to get to VA Beach, just because of traffic and the tunnel.
If you guys wanted to meet in VA Beach, we could just meet up the next time!

Maybe we should plan for lunch somewhere in Williamsburg since it's in the middle? Two weeks from now is Father's Day weekend, which is not good. What about Saturday June 29 or Sunday June 30?

This.thread is making me jealous that I don't live.in RVA anymore! When I come visit next, I will totally let you know! Though I'm not sure I would brave the tunnel in the summer...

I will talk it out with Dan & let y'all know! An hour is a long drive each way with a 4 month old just for lunch, but I'd really love to meet everyone! I'll update.
