We are hitting the special four year old program at MOMA today and then up to Park Slope tomorrow morning to visit my sister. So much for a carriage ride through Central Park. Looking for something fun to do when it is cold and wet. First trip with unexpectedly bad weather. Welcoming any other ideas from the bees.

The Brooklyn Children's Museum is fun if you need something indoors to do while you're in Park Slope,...but like @mrbee: said, it's supposed to be cold, but not rainy. Venture out while you can!

Everywhere on the UWS is family-friendly
Shake Shack is nearby, right next door is Cafe Lalo, famous for being in the movie You've Got Mail and they have over 100 desserts to choose from, Artie's Delicatessen, The Meatball Shop, Hampton Chutney, Land Thai, Good Enough to Eat, I can keep going, haha...

@Trailmix: We missed Cafe Lalo!! So bummed but we had yummy Shake Shack and DH had Artie's for dinner. Closed down CMOM tonight. DD had so much fun!! Aside from the walking (a blister on my foot) I did too. Highly recommend the MOMA tours for fours. Perfect length of time and free admission.
We didn't take her to Natural History because she doesn't like dinosaurs at all. She is more of a sparkly princess kind of girl right now.
