Looking to get a new pair of closed toe casual shoes for when the snow melts. I'm tossing up between a new pair of Toms (all I have are the crochet ones, no bueno until summer) or a pair of Sperrys. I really like the pink canvas ones but just can't decide.

I like my Sperrys more. My canvas ones aren't as comfortable as my leather ones though.

Leather! Sperrys. I'm sorry but I don't get all the type about Tom's. They get dirty so quickly and look...cheap.

I like Toms better for comfort and light weight! If you need them to be durable though I would go with Sperrys.

Sperrys, definitely! I own both shoes and I like my Toms, but if I had to choose one or the other I would definitely go with my Sperrys. You can get much more use out of them. I can't wear my Toms when it rains, I can't wear my Toms if I intend on doing a lot more walking than usual, they get worn looking much faster, etc.

I love my leather Sperry's. I wore than pretty much every day from spring to fall, so easy to slip on, and they still look great.
Unfortunately DH has a really similar pair and we just look silly when we both wear them. And the mesh side vent thing means I cannot wear them in winter in New England, but that would be way more true of Toms.

Sperry for sure! I just picked up a pair on sale at Nordstrom.

i think of them for two different purposes. i love my toms for throwing on for any reason, short walk, trip to the store, etc. i don't think my sperrys are good for long walks, but i like them for style.

I like the look of Toms but my son has slightly wider feet so they weren't comfortable. We own two pairs of Sperrys and they've been great!
