Once in a while we might let someone cut in front of us in line but if you only have a couple of items, do you ever ask to cut someone in line?
I never - too scared! What if they say no? Then you're stuck behind them looking like a rejected moron!

I never but I totally wish I could sometimes, when I only have a couple of items and they have a whole cart!!! I just don't have the nerve to ask.

no, i haven't. maybe if i had a LO that was having a meltdown and i only had one item that we NEEDED and the person in front of me had a cart full, i might ask if they minded if we paid for our item so we could leave ASAP, but i doubt it

Nope. But I totally let someone cut in front of me yesterday in Target. He had 2 items compared to my 20. He was very appreciative.

Never. But I've been in many situations that the person would let me go first anyway.

I would never ask, unless I was like on fire or something.

I never have, but I love it when people offer for me to go ahead of them. It's so considerate of them, and I really appreciate it. I wish places like Costco had an express checkout lane.

I wouldn't, but my mom would (and has)-- she has no shame. I think most of the time, people are caught off guard and just let her cut. Granted, she only asks when she has 2-3 items, but still... awwwwwwwkward.

I wouldn't ask, and I have only been offered to skip ahead a handful of times, once recently, but I think it was mostly because Sawyer was fussing and they were afraid of a meltdown.
