no, but the cat always greets us at the door!!!! If you take too long getting from car to door, you can hear her wailing at the door for you to hurry up and get inside.

We carpool most days, so we get home at the same time. If we take seperate cars and I beat him home, usually I'm making dinner by the time he gets in. I'll usually tip our dogs off that 'daddy's here' if I see him pull in so they'll go sit in the window and watch him walk up our driveway.

We do greet each other at the door. He usually comes home after me, he will come up to me and give me a kiss....sometimes after greeting the dogs. I will do the same for him when I come home. If he's sitting, I just find him and peck him on the head.

Not usually but sometimes. The dogs do though. Its a mad pack of wagging tails and wiggling butts to anyone who walks in!

A lot of times the dog, lo, and I sit on the front porch to wait for hubby to get home. We never greeted my dad at the door, but I think it's fun to make a big deal when hubby comes home.

i usually greet him at the door. if he's home first, he doesn't usually greet me lol.

I greet him at the door on the days that I'm not picking him up from work. I'm usually working in the kitchen when he comes home. The back door opens into the breakfast nook so there would be no way I could miss him.

Umm that would be a big fat no. I never know when my husband is coming home, it could literally be any time of the day or night depending on when he went to work. And he's straight up crazy if he thinks I'm getting out of bed at 3:00am to greet him at the door. Just not gonna happen. If he's home and rested when I get off he'll meet me at the door, especially if I have a lot to carry in.

Yep, we greet each other most days... sometimes we'll be upstairs or in another room so it takes a minute, but we always greet the other person coming in...

When I was growing up, I used to run out to greet my dad at his car (we lived in a townhome complex)... there was this one time that I ran out to greet my dad, he was helping someone in their car with "directions"... lo & behold, my dad was being heldup with a gun!!!! I will never forget what he looks like to this day... my dad gave him his wallet and he drove off... it was crazy. (sorry for the tangent @mr.bee)

I'm usually in the kitchen when he gets home for work, so he jsut comes in there so we can talk about our days. Now that I'm prego I'm usually resting on the couch so he comes and gives me a kiss to wake me up. Our dog does the greeting, she runs down to meet us at the steps and walks up with us.

I greet DH at the door about 90% of the time. Not always, but pretty close
