My LO cried the first time we put her on grass at around 6-7 months. She still hates it! 
Haha. I think it's the texture and color..?

Loves it. I would put her on a blanket when she was a few months old and she would roll off to be in the grass.
Apparently she loves dirt more though.

We rarely put her on grass because she pulls it and tries to put it in her mouth.

@chopsuey119: Oh he hates the beach. He's ok if we put shoes on him at first. He'll walk around. But then sand gets in his shoes (in between his toes) and then he just stands there and freezes. The only thing that has helped somewhat is getting him in crocs cause the sand flows out from the holes. But I"m constantly taking off his shoes and wiping his feet. Your LO might do well cause I hear kids usually LOVE sand!

OMG, my LO hated grass and I thought she was such a weirdo. HAHA. I can't believe other kids are like this.
She also hated snow.
But loves sand!!
