I voted Two and Through, but I always say that once Lil Miss Wagon is in elementary school, if we find ourselves BOTH rich and bored, we'll go for a third. The chances that we'll be BOTH rich and bored are so slight that I'll just vote Two and Through!

I'm thinking 2 and through, but voted not sure! We're open to having a 3rd. I really want my body back and can't imagine chasing after 3.

One and done. Unless we win the lottery, of course.

I voted 2, but if we manage to have two pretty close together and I still have time before I'm too old, we're both open to 3. If finances & time were greater, we'd love 4! But that won't happen at this point.

We're thinking three or four, but we're not set on a specific number. We'll see how the spirit moves us.

@mediagirl: Ha, same here! We're not 100% sure yet...we (read: I) decided to give it a year and reassess. DH would get snipped.

At first we were one and done, then we wanted two. We think we're probably done, but I've learned to never say never since I don't know what the future holds. If the adoption fairy came to our door, we wouldn't say no and if there was a whoops then we'd happily have a 3rd. No, we're not planning on an oops!

I'm thinking two and through. My husband would say 4!

I voted 2 but we may be open to 3 (but I'm getting older and want kids 3 years apart)

Two! We really want DD to have a sibling, otherwise I might be tempted to say one and done.

@Mrs. Jacks: hahaha do you ever "plan" an "oops"? lol
ahh I don't know what to vote. We have one and I love him to death, but pregnancy and birth were AWFUL and I hated both. So at first I was like NO MORE KIDS EVERRR. lol but I knew I could never have just one. I would say two, but I know my husband wants four, so we may settle on three. I'm not sure. They will be evenly spaced though - like 3 years then 2-3 years or something like that. Not too close.

@Coco Bee: haha! After my first trimester I told everyone we were adopting the rest of our kids. Then when I was in labor I told my husband "we are only having one kid and I mean it!". Sometimes I feel like I would be happy with just one but I would love for LO to have siblings when we are gone.

@sandy: haha yeah! I'm so glad when people asked how many I wanted I always said, "we'll see how the first one goes." Even though DS is the most perfect baby EVER, I hated birth enough for it sway my decision but we'll see, I could have a change of heart.

I have a daughter and if #2 is also a girl, then we're through. But if #2 is a boy, I will be open to having a third.

I loved being pregnant and would totally go through it again in a heartbeat. LO, however, is a spirited baby. He's not super easy but he's not super hard either. I would love to have a 2nd but it terrifies me that our next baby could be even more difficult!

Hopefully 3! But at least 2,...I think it will depend on finances and my ability to handle everything as a SAHM.

Hopefully three, but I asked DH to give me the option of changing my mind after 1 of each (if we are so lucky).
DH fully admits that if it were financially viable and if I were physically healthy enough, he'd want 4-5+ children. :O LOL.
We may adopt in our later years.

I voted two and through, but we both said with an option of a 3rd. DH really wants a son, so if we end up having 2 girls (we have one on the way) he wants to be able to discuss having a third to try for a boy. We will see if that happens!

Not sure! I'm pregnant with our first but think I would love to have 2 or 3 if I can get pregnant again. Who knows, maybe after the birth I will be happy with one. If it takes a while to get pregnant again, I think we'll just try for two. Or if we wind up with two of the same gender, we'll stick with that. Otherwise the third could be an option!

I've always wanted 2, but lately, I'm just not sure. I don't think I'll ever be able to become a SAHM or even go part time, and the idea of two kids in daycare is scary (financially). Unless we waited 4 or 5 years until LO was in preschool or regular school, but that seems like a big gap.
So... I just don't know. A lot can change so we shall see! DH is fine with 1 or 2, he doesn't really care as much
ETA: I'll be 32 when I deliver our first, so waiting 4-5 years for our 2nd may not even be an option for us.

I always wanted four. I was from a family of three and it seemed like one was always left out, so in my perfect world two boys and two girls woul be great. But, considering I'm not starting until my 30s, and we'd love to still travel and not spend all our money on college educations...2-3 is more likely!

I voted two and through because that is my thoughts. DH keeps complaining about the costs of childcare for two yet every once in awhile brings up a third.

Well I think we originally wanted 4.....But now we are thinking about 2 and going from there We definitely want more than 1 though.

I voted Two and Through. However, if our two kids are of the same sex, we'd try for a third, but that's it after that!

We've always wanted three; a fourth could be a possibility, depending on the circumstances, but for now, we're only preparing for three.
