I looove dogs, but I don't have any right now, I have 2 cats though!
Ours just turned 1 a month ago! They are technically a week apart in age, we adoted them from the humane society and they were "roommates". They aren't from the same litter, they were both strays found outside and they have been best buddies ever since! 
My mom had a cat that lived to be 18!! I hope my 2 live to be that old

I have 1 dog and 2 cats! My older one is 3.5 years and the other is just 12 weeks old! We have had the older one since January and we got the kitten when he was 8 weeks. They are already buddies, even though the kitten does tend to bother her sometimes and bites her tail, hee! They are super cute together.

One is 9 or 11 - the shelter had two different birth dates on her; and the other is 4.

My kitty is 9 years old (her birthday is in August). My aunt gave me a stray, who turned out to be pregnant (I found that out when I took her in to be spayed!). For awhile, I had 6 cats in my 1 bedroom apartment. My aunt took the momma cat back, my mom took one of the kittens, I kept 1 and found homes for the other 4.
My childhood kitty died just shy of 19 years old (two years ago). That was a tough one. Lots of tears.

My cat that died last week was at least 18. I'm not sure exactly how old he was when I got him 8 years ago. I had information that he was at least ten.

I have twinner cats that are both a year old. My parents still have a cat kicking around who is 19.

@cyndistar3: Yep they are always together! They really are best friends, it's the cutest thing. Whenever they nap they always cuddle up together. Or at night it's always the 4 of us on the bed (DH, myself, and the 2 kitties snuggled right between us lol)
