Right after DS was born and DH was getting ready to cut the umbilical cord I remember him saying "at least he doesn't have your nose". DH is always on me about my nose, but really his nose is the same shape.

@anbanan15: That's not very nice! I'm always on myself about my nose.... and LO totally has my nose too. But it's much cuter on her.
He just kept making all these weird noises, lol. He was just in complete shock, crying, and saying, "oh my god!" over and over. It was so sweet- I've never seen him like that before!

@artbee: haha I know. He said it while having a look of awe on his face and excitement as he hogged the baby so I think it was more of a verbal slip. My mom couldn't stop laughing though because she kept saying DH and I have the same nose anyway and he was all proud that he shared his nose.

@anbanan15: when we saw the 3d image of our lo, my husband told me she has my nose. Ha! -
Well, I'm not a mom yet, but when my dad met me he said "Hi Meagan, I'm your daddy. I'm going to walk you down the aisle someday." He talked about it in his toast at our wedding.
