The jeans thread has made me question if I should try on some pairs of nicer jeans. If they will truly last me 5-10 years and fit nicely, that would be amazing! What brands should I look into?

Mavy is the only jeans brand that fits me well! I buy the same pair over and over again and wear them to death!

I wear Democracy brand jeans. They are reasonably priced (about $60-80 a pair, but I've snagged them at Costco for $30) and the ones I buy (the jeggings) have a little bit of stretch and a mid-rise so no muffin topping.

I like banana republic and loft jeans. But you can usually get them for a reasonable price on sale
The most expensive pair of jeans I've owned were MEK, from the buckle.If I ever lose these last 20 lbs, I'd buy a nice pair of jeans.

I've never tried them on, but the fabric of Paige jeans is amazing and I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Joe's Jeans, AG, True religion, Hudson. I got a pair of Paige jeans recently and they look great but stretch out after a few wears. None of my other jeans do that. I was bummed.

I like J brand. I had a couple pairs of Joe's (got one at TJ Maxx!) and both got pretty worn out after a few years, but I did wear them a lot.

I love Torrid jeans for plus size- they have several inseams do there's even an option for pint sized plus ladies

I recently bought Lucky jeans, and they address my favorite right now.

I've had good luck with lucky, Levi's, gap, and the occasional pair of Calvin Klein. Also recently bough a pair of Ann Taylor, and they're super comfy.

I loved Coldwater Creek jeans but now they are out of business. I have some Levis and 1 pair of AG skinnies.

I have a ton of different brands, but AGs are my favorite. I also love Genetic denim.
