Later this month our little family (LO included) and my best friend's little family (our LOs are only two weeks apart) will be vacationing in Florida - our first family trip!
But my hope is that for our 5-year anniversary, we can do another family trip (depending on if there is a #2) with my parents to Hawaii. And we plan on a vow renewal for our 10-year anniversary, somewhere hot!

We're going to NY in July for my sisters wedding. We'll stay a while and make a vacation out of it.

=( i don't know. i'm so sad because we were going to plan a big family trip this year.... but i'll be having the babies soon so that's not going to happen. probably (HOPEFULLY) next year. i always like to take 1 or 2 trips a year. hopefully, we can do it in 2013.

Nothing this year yet. Husband wants to go on an Alaskan cruise this summer but we'll see. He definitely wants to do something big for his 40th birthday next year - either Hawaii or chamonix.

This is the first year that we don't have any trips planned. While we are TTC, we are holding off any vacation plans. We traveled a lot last year and are prepped for some babies!
I def want to do a family trip to a resort in the next five years (with my parents and brother)... and Disney when future LOs are older!

Since it doesn't look like we're buying an apt this year, I think we may do a trip to israel and maybe greece. Should be fun!!
I should add that this is obviously dependent on etc, if im 7months pregnant in august, then we probably wouldn't go. So here's hoping we don't get to go

@Rubies: DH's family all lives in New Brunswick, but his grandma owns a cottage on the coast in Nova Scotia. So we're hoping to do 5-6 days in NB visiting family, head to the cottage for a few days, and then pop out to PEI (I've never been!) just to see it. Depends on how well LO travels and how much time off DH is willing to take. We haven't been out in over 6 years, it's long past time for us to visit

We'll probably fly out to LA to visit my family. Other than that, we hope to move to Paris for a year when Charlie and Olive are a little bit older.

With a LO on the way this spring, this is the first year we have no travel plans ): I am hoping for a few weeks in the south of France early 2013.

This is the first year we don’t have a big summer trip planned, since I’m due in early June. This is also the first year we’ll have Christmas at our house and not travel cross country to CA for Christmas.
So, our next big planned trip is for around next Feb/March, when LO will be around 8 months. We’ll leave her with her grandparents for a week and go somewhere warm, with lots of alcoholic drinks and grownups only. Can’t wait!

We'll be moving halfway across the country this summer w/ LO and our pet rabbit. That will definitely be a BIG trip, but not a big fun trip. Our next fun family trip will hopefully be next winter when we'll bring LO on her first beach vacation. We'll probably just go to Florida b/c that should be pretty easy...

Our next real trip of the year is going to Fallingwater (in Pennsylvania) for our 2 year anniversary in August. We are going to stay there for 3 days. I can't wait!
Next year we are hoping to plan a trip to California!

We will probably do small trips for the next few years -new zealand, maybe Fiji. Once all the LOs are slightly older we want to visit Europe, specifically Italy, England and Switzerland.

@Rubies: Any thoughts on which island? I love Kauai but it really depends on what you're looking for.
Anyway...a big trip would be anything consisting of a plane right now since I'm a big chicken taking LO far away or even on long drives.
My top 3 big trips are NY or New Zealand or Japan though. That's in the works in the next 5 years. Still saving...and waiting for LO to grow up.

There are talks about traveling with my inlaws overseas towards the end of the year. We will see if that happens, if not, we are hoping to go back to Hawaii sometime soon.

So many people going to Hawaii!! Is that because it's not that far from the west coast?
We don't have anything for us planned, instead we have a baby on the way! . Our biggest trip that is planned is to Cleveland in November to visit family. Whoopie do!

If all goes well, we'll have our first trip back to California in time for my friend's wedding and it'll also be the first time baby meets my side of the family. I'm not fond of long flights (understatement) but having my grandma meet the baby would make it all worthwhile.
LO should be around 7 months by then, depending on when my friend sets the actual date.

We're hoping to go on a mini-Texas tour sometime early August. Our son will be about 5 months old and both of his cousins to be will have been born by then. We'd go to Houston to see my parents, San Antonio so LO can meet his great-grandparents and my cousins and their new babies, and then Dallas to meet all of my friends from when I lived there. Fingers crossed we can make it all happen!

@mediagirl: Hawaii is a 5-6 hour flight from the west coast.
