The hubs wants LO to call him "daddy" but I think it would be cute if she called him "baba" ('dad' in Cantonese).
I call my dad "ahba" (dad in Korean) and never used English terminology when addressing him.
What do you call your dad? What will LO call her father?

I'm not sure, but I think they sort of pick what they want to call you. I'd guess probably daddy or papa when younger, then dad as they get to cool to use daddy.

LO calls DH appa! 
I call my dad appa or DAD!! when he does something I'm not happy with. 
My dad loves to call himself "Daddy" though. Back in the day when random guys used to call the house my dad would say "THIS IS SUSAN'S DADDY! WHO IS THIS?!"

i call my dad daddy, dad or appa. i don't think my hubby will care. but i think dad is just fine. i think appa sounds weird since we're not really koreanized.

@tequiero21: DH isn't very koreanized, but he REALLY wants lo to call him appa. It's odd.

Right now it is Daddy but it will be Dad when she is older.

Babi. Sounds like Bobby. They'll most likely use the Albanian words for both of us, and call his parents "Mama" and "Papa", like he calls them.

I still call my dad "Daddy." LO will probably do the same.

I still call my dad "Daddy" too. I think DH will just be dad or daddy - my FIL is "Papa" to the other grandkids.
