If we won, we'd would quit work and take a nice long vacation to figure out what we are going to do with all that money. I'm sure we'd donate quite a bit to various charities, build our dream home, help out family members, and invest the rest.

I'd make sure my and dhs parents were set for life. Have trust funds for my kids and nephew.... Pay off any debt. Buy a nice house... Live off the interest... I'm sure my hubs would want to take a million and trade it.

No student loan debt! Buy a house in NYC, Florida, and Atlanta (we have family in ATL and Florida). Buy homes for my mom and siblings. Donate! Start my own publishing company. Invest!

Buy a home. Travel. Give a reasonable amount to my family. For family members who are bad with money, hire an accountant for them. Setup trust funds or college education for my neices and nephews. Donate some money to my school. I always joked that if I become rich, I want to have a building named after me. Oh, of course donate to other charities. With 540 million, I probably would have trouble spending half of it. If I buy a home or a new car, it will probably be modest.

We would buy a house, donate to our church, pay off a few peoples houses and, put a ton in savings.

Just chimed in on the other one too! Haha. It's just so fun to think about what you would do with all the money... and also helps me line up my priorities in life and plan to achieve it all gradually rather than overnight

- pay off all our debt and our parents' debt
- tithe! This would be complicated... that's a lot of money for our relatively new church to handle!
- hire a money manager to figure out how to handle all this money and live off it forever!
- set aside trust funds for our children to set them up for college, retirement funds for our parents, retirement fund for ourselves
- start a foundation and hire staff that could handle all of the "i need money" requests that would inevitably come in
- buy a big beautiful house we could live in forever, as well as a oceanfront summer house and mountain winter house
- buy several small properties near our house for the grandparents to live in when they come to visit (or eventually move into after they retire and decide what they want to do)
- hire a cook, housekeeper, and live-in nanny
- immediately book like, half the ship of a disney cruise and take all of our friends and family!

I would probably start my own business... not sure what yet... and Rob Sr. would probably quit to pursue several phds and eventually teach and write.

We talk about this all the time,we would make sure our families were set for life (parents, grandparents, & siblings/their kids.) I would also have one heck of a wardrobe I could promise that

That's a serious amount of money! What is it after tax? There's no tax on lottery wins here at all.
Lemme see... Huge donations, obviously. Make sure all family members and closest friends are ok, build a fantastic house, buy a fantastic house on the French riviera,
HIRE A HOUSEKEEPER!!!! OMG I'd never Hoover or dust or wash a floor again. And stash about six million away safely as the pension pot.
