When did you register? I've been keeping a wishlist on amazon, but it would be easier to just do a registry I'd think. I just don't want people to search it and think I'm nuts..but then, they're kind of weird for searching it in the first place, no?
My SIL & BIL registered around 14 weeks..I think.

@chopsuey119: lol! that makes me feel better. I'm almost 8 weeks so if I can keep patience a littleee longer.. I just know I have family who will shop early and I'd rather be able to (embarrassingly) admit I have a list already, than get things and try to figure out how to return. LOL.

I started at 12 weeks. I put boy and girl stuff on and deleted all the boy stuff when I found out we were having a girl. I figured nobody but me would be looking at it anyway, and I didn't want to get overwhelmed if I didn't have a lot of time to register and research.

Around 21 weeks. I thought that was pretty early to register, but my MIL and aunts all demanded I start a registry, so what could I do?

I was wondering this same thing, we are team green so I suppose it doesn't really matter! We are moving back to our home state at the end of March, so we will register in April and I will be around 19-21 weeks.

I started around 20 weeks - literally put like 2 items on there. I'm 25 weeks now and have been working on it over the last few weeks. My shower invites go out in a few weeks (shower is at 32 wks).
I was too scared and overwhelmed to start before 20 weeks!

We registered around 28 weeks. Kind of late I guess compared to the other ladies.

I'm almost 23 weeks and I still haven't registered. I'll probably sit down to do it in early March.

I am only 9 weeks today and if I do a registry it will be around 20 weeks when we find out the gender. About a year and a half ago we moved here and I don't know that many people (still) well enough to throw me a shower, so I don't know if I'm going to have one at all. All of my close family and friends are back where we moved from. So I would feel a little awkward if I registered and then didn't have a shower...lol.

@googly-eyes: even without a shower registries are great for people who want to get you a gift to have an idea of what you want. Also, that completion discount always comes in handy

I registered really early (first trimester) because I was just so excited. My registry changed a lot, but it was nice to have a running list, especially since we found out the sex right before Christmas and I knew we'd be getting baby gifts early (some people actually did buy things off the registry as Christmas gifts, which we loved). I have kept almost everything gender neutral as I want to be able to reuse as much as I can for future babies.

@Plantains: Ah I guess I didn't think of it that way since I usually just give like flowers/balloons at the hospital and the main gift at the shower. Maybe we will do one after all. We've got lots of time.
