After seeing all the recommendations for maternity leggings, I'm convinced that I need some!
I'm of the belief that when wearing leggings as pants, my shirt should be long enough to cover cheeks and crotch. Where can I find such shirts? I have a couple of cute ones from Urban but they're so expensive! Where do you buy tunic-length tops?

Oooh following this. That is my favorite look and I always have a tough time finding some.
I saw some a couple weeks ago at the Ann Taylor Factory OUTLET, they had a really cute long sleeved gray tunic that was ruched all along the bottom, so it fit really nicely and you don't have to worry about it not covering your bum.

Oh, and I found some at H&M one year. I got an oversized sweater that I wore. It was cute and got lots of compliments.

@Coco Bee: How did the H&M one hold up? I've never bought anything there because it's so cheap--is quality decent? I'm distrustful of things that seem to cost too little.

Boden has some really cute ones! I think some dresses are more tunic & leggings material than appropriate dresses, so try searching for dresses too! Maybe try shorter style dresses in a larger size. Anyway, here is the link for boden maternity. I can't wait to need their stuff! So friggin cute!

@tororojo: I haven't bought a lot there; the sweater, a belt, and two tank tops. All have held up well so far.
@mrs. bird: Oh I LOVE their maternity section and so wish I'd had the $$ to invest in a few pieces. Probably next pregnancy
I also second looking at some dresses. I'm wearing a dress right now I got from ASOS that is shorter, mid-thigh. I wear it with leggings or tights and boots. It's so cute!

Yup, I second Boden. The clothes are great and if you are patient, you can get a bunch of stuff when it goes on clearance.
I have a ton of tunics, another great place to look is Kohls, the Dana Buchman line.

Boden is really cute.
I normally find shirts and cardigans that are on the longer side and wear them over leggings. I just picked up a great shirt from the Gap. It is called the "Fitted Boyfriend" I think. I also bought a long "grandpa" style cardigan from there. I wore the shirt last night over my maternity leggings and it looked great. I always wait for the 30% or 40% off coupons that come out for the Gap.

I have tunics from j.crew and forever 21. I'll also buy solid colored shirts in a size or two larger so they are long and cover plenty and layer with a cardigan or long sweater.

I have a lot of long cotton sweaters from H&M and Forever 21 that I wear to death in the fall/winter. Considering the price point, I think they all have held up very well. I love that I can just throw them in the machine too (though I do hang dry).
